A highlight of each year’s three-day Glaucoma 360 event, the Annual Gala is a benefit dinner celebrating the scientists, advisors, donors, and volunteers who work together to advance the field of glaucoma and bring us closer to curing glaucoma and restoring vision. Join us at the historic Westin St. Francis Hotel on Union Square to celebrate innovation and the visionaries who share our mission.

Frequently Asked Questions

The 2024 Annual Gala is “an in-person only” event. The Gala will not be live streamed. It will not be possible to attend virtually or view the Gala remotely.

If you need to update your registration with an attendee replacement, please send us an email with the details of your Gala registration and who will be attending in your place. ​Gala tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, we are happy to convert your in-person ticket or table purchase to a tax-deductible donation to Glaucoma Research Foundation. Please send us an email to process your request by Tuesday, January 6, 2024. All requests need to be processed by this date.

Unvaccinated individuals will not be able to attend, including those with medical or religious exemptions for vaccination.

By February 8, 2024, you must be two weeks past your final dose in the primary series of COVID-19 vaccinations. In most cases this means you will need to have completed your primary series of vaccinations by January 24, 2024. Any of the accepted vaccines listed on the WHO Emergency Use List will be accepted for entry to Glaucoma 360 if the final shot is completed by January 24, 2024.

Glaucoma Research Foundation is committed to everyone’s safety at Glaucoma 360. Therefore, proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for all attendees, exhibitors, staff, and contractors. Due to the fluidity of the current situation, additional safety protocols for Glaucoma 360 may be announced closer to the meeting. All decisions are based on best practices as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as from both the State of California and City of San Francisco. In addition, all attendees are encouraged to be current with their COVID-19 vaccine boosters.

Our Glaucoma 360 room rate will expire on January 17, 2024. Please contact the hotel for room reservations.

COVID-19 Health and Safety Information
Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination will be required to attend Glaucoma 360 events. Attendees are encouraged to also receive a COVID-19 vaccine booster. Attendees should review all CDC Guidelines and should not attend if they are not fully vaccinated or if they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.

Attendees will receive their name badge from event staff following their vaccination check as proof that they have completed the vaccination verification process. If you have questions, please send us an email.
