About the Artist
Azalea Stetter is a bright and creative nearly five-year-old who loves art, reading, and outdoor adventures. Her journey with glaucoma began shortly before her second birthday, when a family optometrist flagged concerning symptoms during a reunion and recommended a thorough eye exam. This led to a life-changing diagnosis of Primary Congenital Glaucoma.
Despite undergoing numerous exams, surgeries, and treatments, Azalea’s resilience and passion for art continue to shine. Through her vibrant depictions of flowers, sunshine, and sunsets, Azalea shares her unique perspective filled with hope and joy. Inspired by other artists with glaucoma, Azalea’s family is confident that her creative spirit will flourish, no matter what the future holds for her vision.
